Ep 72: Mindset around Injuries & Illness
In today's episode we talk about the challenges around ongoing health coditions and injuries. It can be really hard when you can't get answers or find a way forward that can effect mindset and overall ability to cope.
We discuss then importance of finding ways to support yourself to help your body on the healing journey. We believe there is always a way forward and having the support networks and self-care practices in place are essential for your ability to heal and regain some balance within.
The journey isn't always a quick fix, it may take time and to try different modalities or practitioners, but when we hold a mindset of possibility and what can I do right now, who can I reach out to and what can I learn about this situation, it opens up more awareness to your body and can assist with a deeper understanding of what can be available.
We encourage listener to keep going, to embrace the journey and find a way forward no matter what. Knowing there is support around and there are answers available.

Ep 68: Sugar
Today we talk about all things involving sugar, the affects it has on the body, and why it's so important to be aware of how the food companies so cleverly hide sugar.
Our body needs sugar to survive, but it's the quality over the quantity that's important, and educating yourself so you can identify it when you see it.
List of Sugar names: https://sugarscience.ucsf.edu/hidden-in-plain-sight/
We have grown up seeing sugar as a treat and a prize to be won as children. It's time to reprogram how we see sugar and also help the next generation who are bombarded at every super market checkout, and every celebration, that there are safer ways to consume what should be classified as a drug.
Ep 67: Self Support
In today's episode we wanted to explore and discuss the importance of self support. Why this is so important when it comes to your health and self-care.
Building your self-worth and understanding how you can best support yourself in times of need is an important tool to build to help you maintain some form of self-care in your life.
How are you looking after yourself? How are you dealing with the challenges that show up and not let that take a toll on your health? Not allowing life to define who you are but having the capacity to rely on yourself when needed.
This can be such a game changer to maintaining balance and staying with the ongoing journey of health and stopping the yoyo self-care. Learning to adapt and know what works for you in moments of need can just be the difference of you getting through or hitting rock bottom.
We believe that apart from a community of support, knowing we have some resources within us to help ourselves is something we can all strive for.
Ep 66: Building your vision
In todays episode we discuss how you see your world, your future and are you playing a role in the creation process or simply just letting life happen to you.?
It doesn't take much to drive the steering wheel of your own life and have you truest desires for work, love, health and happiness. We share some tools you can use to work more with visualisation and explain how extraordinary having a vision can be.
Don't underestimate the power of vision. It can be done anywhere, anytime, is absolutely free, and one of the most powerful ways to bring you closer to the life you truly deserve.

Ep 64:How to Pace Through the End of Year & Manage Responsibilities
In this episode we discuss the importance of pace and maintaining responsibilities.
You don't have to get it all right all the time!
If we are able to shake off the small things and take those tiny moments to yourself seriously, it's amazing how that makes us feel. We can get it all done and it doesn't have to include high stress levels just to get through it all.
Create a new mindset this month and redefine what the end of the year can truly be for you. We can pace ourselves when we are going at our own pace and not comparing our pace with anyone else.
Be gentle to yourself!
Ep 63: Breaking Routine & Being Ok with Change
It's very easy to get stuck in a rut or in the same old routine and it feel like there's something missing.
There is so much magic when we move something to a different time that it usually happens, taking a different way to work or surrendering to the change that is itching or knocking on your door.
Today we want to congratulate routine if it is present in your life and also encourage the balance that is available when we simply do something different, and how present we become when we step out of what we normally do rather robotically each day.
It's ok not to be ok, and that is where being ok with change can begin.
If you are looking for that spark to come back into your life, why not be creative and courageous, break the norm and embrace what ever comes with it.
This is also very good for renewing your sense of self care and creating new ideas for who you are becoming.

Ep 60: Procrastination
Todays topic is an area that many people struggle with and something that we may wonder why we do it and how we can do less of it.
Procrastination is the act of delaying or putting off a task that needs to be done, often for something less important or more enjoyable. It's a common behavior that everyone does from time to time, but it can become a problem when it negatively affects your well-being.
We discuss ways to overcome the amount of time you may be procrastinating, help recognise when you are procrastinating and how you can start to shift your mindset and put structures into place to be more productive. This will have a postive effect on how you are looking after yourself and your self-care practices.
Ep 59: Natural Body Building with Billie Paea
Today we had the absolute privilege of Interviewing Billie Paea on the topic of Natural Body Building.
Resistance training and building muscle plays a vital role in our health and longevity. If we maintain muscle as we age, we age a lot better and are less likely to face a lot of typical issues that many encounter.
However you choose to do it big or small, don't box yourself in to Cardio or fitness, find ways to continue to build muscle, or at least maintain muscle to attain true longevity and get the best out of your future years ahead.
In this episode Billie mentions it's all about balance, not just working out but also prioritising recovery. When we focus on recovery just as much as the work out, it changes everything.

Ep 58: Spring Cleaning
Most people have heard of the term 'Spring Clean'.
No matter what season of the year it is, having a spring clean can really allow some space and clarity for your self-care.
Today we chat about the importance of decluttering your life both internally and externally and highlight all the wonderful benefits this can have.
Often life gets busy and we accumulate 'stuff' around us which holds different energies, good and bad and don't realise how they can be impacting your day to day practices.
From simply things like cleaning out a cupboard that has things you never use to do some inner work from the past, what can show up can leave you feeling happier, lighter and more energised.
There are some great takeaways that if you put into practice could have you feeling more spacious and organised within you life.
Ep 57: Natural Beauty
Today we discuss the power and versatility of natural beauty products.
What do we mean by natural beauty? Beauty products designed by nature and derive from a natural source.
Once you begin to explore the variety of products available to all of us that nature has provided you will be amazed and how much you can get out of one plant, oil or powder depending what it is, while cutting your costs down.
Not to mention lowering your toxic load in the mean time.
Ep 56: Magnesium
Today we discuss the hot topic of Magnesium.
It is slowly becoming more and more common that it is a vital mineral we simply can not live without. Magnesium can support your mood, blood sugar regulation, cravings, enhance athletic performance, help lower depression, sleep, and cramps just to name a few.
There are a variety of ways you can supplement Magnesium and there are also many types of Magnesium so do pay attention to what type of magnesium you are purchasing.
We also get into the foods that have magnesium like green leafy veggies, nuts, seeds and beans can also be added to your daily food intake.
Grasses of life also have a great magnesium drink you can find at www.grassesoflife.co.nz
How can you include Magnesium into your day?
Ep 55: Winter Blues
There's many ways our bodies cope during seasons.
Especially is the colder ones, it can make things feel like your pushing up hill a bit, and you're not quite sure why?
Perhaps is a small case of what many call the "winter blues" and it's a matter of finding what's going to connect you back to feeling yourself again.
Maybe it's a lack of connection with nature or our water intake, regardless it's ok to pause, enquire, and bring the life back into your winter to keep you going till the joy of Spring arrives.
Ep 54: Investing in Yourself
One of the best decisions you'll ever make is investing into you.
Investing through learning, working consistently on something or simply paying attention to weaker areas in your life that you would love to see improved for your over all well being and happiness.
This can be done on your own, with a mentor, or someone who can just be accountable for you to remind you when you are doing really well, since we tend to be our worst critics. Taking the journey with someone who has achieved what you really want, in person or online, can save you years and years of trial and error.
We never tend to regret what we do, we mostly tend to regret what we don't do, so if there's something you wish you were better at, or an area in your life you want to turn into a strength, GO FOR IT! Why limit yourself? How would improving a particular area in your self care or lifestyle make all the difference?
Ep 53: Being Your Word
Today we discuss the value and importance of being true to your word and how we ever so slightly change the truth and the impact that may have on our lives and authenticity.
In some way we all do this for many different reasons and can root from past experiences that lead to people pleasing, fear of failure and how we want to be seen by others.
We encourage you today to be true to you and challenge yourself to have the awareness around this topic and ask yourself why, and explore what comes up.
There is a powerfully humble practice that comes with practicing and being true to your word. We hope you enjoy this topic and are able to have some authentic dialogue with yourself as well as others.
