Ep 136: Releasing your Creative Flow
Many of us think creativity is something reserved for artists, writers, or musicians. But creativity lives within all of us. It's how we solve problems, express ourselves, connect to our intuition, and bring new ideas into the world.
The challenge is that busyness, stress, overthinking, and self-doubt can block that natural flow.
Today we're sharing a simple experiential tool to help you reconnect with your creativity and allow your inner wisdom to come forward.
The Practice: Breathe, Ground, Flow
Step 1: Ground Through Breath
Take a few slow, intentional breaths.
Feel your feet on the floor.
Relax your shoulders.
Bring your awareness into your body.
Step 2: Creative Flow Writing
Set a timer for 1 minute and write continuously without stopping.
Remember:
Don't edit.
Don't judge.
Keep the pen moving.
If you're stuck, simply write, "I don't know what to write," until something else begins to flow.
Final Thought
You may be surprised by what comes through when you give yourself permission to slow down and simply write. Often, the answers, ideas, and insights we're searching for are already within us.
Join us today, grab a pen and paper, take a breath, and see what unfolds when you allow your creativity to flow.

This episode is about awareness, not overwhelm. There are simple ways to make changes, like swapping chemical sprays for an environmental cloth, or choosing more natural products for your body and home.
You don’t need to change everything at once. Start by noticing, get curious, and choose one small thing to shift.

Ep 127: Emergency Go To’s
What is your relationship with AI?
Do you use it? How do you use it? Does it create more time for you to do more things for you? Or does is make you want to do more and achieve more because of the speed you can achieve things at now?
Where ever you sit with this new unfolding technology we are here today to bring up the important topic of balance and self enquiry around what place it has in your world, and knowing if that serves you.
We all know it's important to keep up with the times, so as we do that, how do we also know what balance looks like along the way?
We encourage you to ask what does an intuitive balance look like, so that we are to use AI for meaningful progress as opposed to dumbing us down, and doing everything for us.
Here at the Press Pause Podcast we want you to reflect on how you can have a healthy balanced relationship with AI, while also living to your greatest potential, as well as maintaining self care and personal development.
Ep 126: What Really Matters
Today we thought it was rather relevant to have a conversation around what really matters.
This is different for everyone and doesn't always stay the same. It's important to remember out of all the priorities that occupy our mind, what is it that matters most?.
When things don't go the way you'd hope it would or when life gives you curves balls, usually the things that really matter aren't tangible, but who you are being, the memories, or the simple things that are provided day to day. Hold close what matters to you, this will remove stress and unnecessary reactive ways we can respond to the world around us.
Join us as we talk about why it's so important to grasp this and have a clear picture in your mind for what this means to you.
Ep 125: Navigating Fear
Today we felt it was very important to discuss the topic of Navigating Fear.
We live in very interesting times, and it's more important than ever to understand how powerful you are, know your power and to use it wisely.
There are uncertainties all around us and can have the possibility at coming at us from all angles.
So ask yourself, what grounds you? what foundations do you have in place to keep yourself focussed, prepared and be in a solution based mindset, while being aware of your energy and how you operate.
If you are aware of it or not, the powers that be love to keep us in fear to have us more easily controlled. Regardless of what you are facing, find ways you can use these circumstances to grow, prepare and come together with the community around you.
We don't encourage you to ignore your surroundings and do nothing, however we encourage you to use it to think smarter, pull from your resources and really start to becoming conscious of the world you live in.
1. What community can you plug into?
2. What decisions can you make today to prepare for a few weeks/months ahead.
3. How can I rely more on myself, up-skill and not just rely the mainstream system.
How can you train your mind, brain and soul to break out of this 5 sense reality to embody what you are truly capable of?
Perhaps it's meditation, movement, sounds, connecting conversations, community, good foods, clean water and positive dialogue. Find what works for you.
Ep 124: Chunking Down
Have you ever had a goal and then felt overwhelmed by the goal itself?
Today we chat about different methods you can use to look at your goal and then work backwards highlighting small steps that are going to really support you achieving what ever it is you want.
Focusing on the small steps and chunking down. Focussing on today, or this week with all your attention, rather than the goal itself. When we become clear on the next step and then the next and so on we create a map to success one chunk at a time.
Key points in this process is planning and reflecting.
5min to reflect at the end of the week, 5 min to plan for the next day.
It makes all the difference when you are motivated by small chunks, rather than look at how far away you may be from accomplishing your goal.
Ep 123: Are You Really Filling Your Cup?
In todays Episode we feel the need to do another check in, and ask are you really filling your cup?
We want you to ask yourself, Do you really feel rested? Do you feel a sense of fulfilment? Are you making progress in important areas that matter to you?
If you answered No to any of these questions perhaps sit back and reflect.
Even if it looks like self care and intuitive soul alignment, you could be doing too much of it, or your practice needs to evolve with you as you evolve.
As we look after ourselves we can't allow the looking after to be stressful or not actually re charge us. It is important to see a growth or have a benefit to what we are doing.
Be open to continuously evolve and change your routines to align with who you are now and who you are becoming, regardless of what you think you should be doing.
Ep 122: Your Body Is Always Talking To You
Listening to the body is one of the best ways you can get the answers you're looking for.
Creating consistent dialog between you and your body through tuning in and listening will support the awareness and communication around what's really best for you.
What is medicine for others could not be for you, so it's always good when we listen to others and receive advice when needed, while at the same time, involve our body, let it have a say as well and then decide.
There is inbuilt intelligence within our bodies that we don't want to miss out on. How can you start creating a more clearer connection and communication with your body?
Ep 121: Craniosacral Therapy with Katrina Fovakis
In today’s episode we talk all things Craniosacral Therapy with our host, Katrina Fovakis.
Katrina is a holistic health practitioner who shares her knowledge and experience around what Craniosacral Therapy is, the benefits, what to expect in a session, and why someone might consider having one.
In simple terms, Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works with your body’s natural rhythms to help it settle, soften, and reset. Using very light touch, it supports the nervous system to move out of stress and into a calmer, more balanced state.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, tense, or “on edge,” this therapy can help your body shift from fight-or-flight into rest-and-repair. Many people experience deep relaxation during a session, a sense of emotional release, reduced pain or tension, improved sleep, and a greater feeling of clarity and connection to themselves.
Katrina also explains what a typical session looks like — lying fully clothed on a treatment table in a quiet, safe space, while gentle contact is made at areas such as the head, spine, or sacrum. There is no manipulation or force — just subtle support that allows your body to do what it naturally knows how to do: heal.
If you’re curious about natural ways to regulate your nervous system and support your overall wellbeing, this episode will give you a clear and easy-to-understand introduction to this beautiful, restorative therapy.
