Ep 81: Communication
One of the most important things to consider when we are talking about self care is your ability to communicate. How serious do you take the way you communicate with others around you including yourself?
Have you come across situations that haven't worked out in your favour and thought, maybe I sounded different to how I heard myself?
How we communicate determines so many of our results, understandings, mis understandings, and can make all the difference when you are trying to look after yourself in new ways. Communicating to the people around you is so vital to achieving your goals. While at the same time, being honest with yourself is just as important to see reality for what it is.
Sometimes keeping things to yourself and not sharing with others can also be important, depending on the goal that needs to be achieved. However when you are needing the support of others those difficult conversations came become the make or break towards achieving what you set out to do.
Today we talk about how crucial it is to always evolve and work on your communication skills, why, and also how listening is just as important when it comes to communicating to actually receive the information you need to formulate the best conversation possible.
Ep 80: Investing In Yourself
Self Care is all about investing into you. This takes so many forms and has so many benefits.
Whether you do this in your health by eating what nourishes your body, or investing some money into educating yourself, or as simple as listening to a podcast to gain more insight and awareness, the options are endless.
How have you invested into yourself this month, this week, and today?
It makes life more fulfilling and enables us to be the best versions of ourselves. As we always like to highlight, keep it simple and make sure you are investing into yourself in some way each week to continue the growth and evolution you deserve!
Ep 79: Being aware of EMF
Today we felt it was important to speak on the awareness of EMF, known as Electric Magnetic Fields.
Electric and magnetic fields are invisible lines of force present in the natural environment and wherever electricity flows. They are produced by voltage or electric charge. The higher the voltage, the greater the electric field.
A lamp cord that is plugged in produces an electric field even if the lamp is not on.
The electromagnetic spectrum covers a wide range of frequencies. Electrical current associated with power lines and household appliances is characterised by extremely low frequencies. Magnetic fields, on the other hand, are not easily blocked and can pass through most objects.
We currently live in a soup of EMF's and it has increased over the past few years. We are now transitioning into a 5G world and it's hard to even understand what this means. When the world moved from 3G to 4G, it wasn't as big of a shift as to when it moved from 4G to 5G. Now that we are moving into 5G and witnessing huge 5G towers everywhere, it's important to expand our awareness as we can not see this field which is why we feel it's important to speak about it and also do your own research to educate yourself to know, the strength of a magnetic field decreases rapidly with increased distance from its source. From this understanding we can create safer environments to coexist with it. Especially because it's not going anywhere and we are surrounded by it every single day.
Join us as we chat about many ways to create a healthier and safer lifestyle with Electric Magnetic Fields and how to maintain that balance.
We also talk about a wonderful company call Life Energy Solutions that create great tools to have in your home, on your phone or on your body to harmonically balance these fields.

Ep 78: Being Your Authentic Self
What would the world look like if you were able to show up as the most authentic version of you? What does the process look like for to be able to drown out expectation, influence and insecurity, and tune into your true intuitive sense of self and present that to the world in any situation, environment or circumstance?
This is definitely not an easy task and can take a lifetime to grasp depending on what you have experienced growing up, what support you may or may not have had, and the level of growth and personal development you are exposed to.
In todays episode we discuss the importance of why being the most authentic version of you is so important, and what are some simple practices you can adopt along the way to feel more connected to who you truly are. No matter what energies, people or situations you may be exposed to.
Join us as we continue to expand our awareness into these areas of self care that are intuitively so vital to how we experience life and the world around us.
Ep 77: Homeopathy with Alice Kleinsman
Have you ever wondered what Homeopathy is all about? Maybe you have tried it but not totally understanding how it works, is it 100% safe and what it can be used for.
Today we have a new guest speaker Alice Kleinsman who chats to us all about Homeopathy and her journey as a practitioner.
Alice completed a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, maths, and psychology before she trained as a teacher. She has taught in many different places in the world, and values how the different perspectives each culture she has been a part of contribute to a world of colour and richness.
With such diverse knowledge in the health & wellness industry, Alice really helps listeners to understand the history of Homeopathy, whats involved with making a remedy and a deeper insight into how it works and why it is such a safe therapy to use on all ages.
Alice has had many amazing first hand experiences of this process in her own life – caring for herself and others. It is also an amazing tool to have when you have a young family, as you can build up your own resources easily and very affordably.
We came away with so much more understanding, even though we both use homeopathy for ourselves and our families. There are some great takeaways to help you get started and Alice is always available via her website below for more questions if you have them.

Ep 76: Being the Mirror
What is the world around you telling you?
Do you think you are sepaerate from situations or circumstance? Do you feel you, your thoughts, vibration and actions have a part to play in the outcomes all around you?
Today we talk around the powerful subject of seeing the world as we are. The world being a reflection of us and how to use the reflection as a way to reflect back, the most important life lessons or opportunities our experiences are trying to teach us.
Join us as we explore the idea of taking responsibility for all that we see.
Ep 75: Ways to Support Forgetfulness
Do you consider yourself to be forgetful? Is this something that you feel is an area that you would like to have some useful tools to have on hand to remember all the little (or big) things that this busy life seems to demand?
On today's episode we discuss the common trait of forgetfulness. It may be when you are starting a new self-care practice and then somehow get to the end of the day you realise that you have forgetten to do what you said you would, or remembering all the parts of the moving wheel each day that can just feel overwhelming.
We totally get it and can relate, so we wanted to bring a closer awareness to why we forget, and offer you some tools and resources to help you be more organised with some simple effective ways to overcome forgetfulness.
Like anything it takes some commitment to make some changes but we know that small simple things can really help the bigger picture.
One of the resources we mention is Asana. A free app you can download to braindump and organise your day, week and month. https://asana.com/
Ep 74: Age
What is your relationship with age?
In today's episode we visit the mindset and perspective that we tend to have with age, and we challenge you to ask yourself, does your age hold you back? Do you feel old before you've even reached half your life span? Do you limit yourself just because other people in your age bracket may not do something you have a true passion for?
We can easily let age define us and also create unhealthy expectations around who we should be or what we should have achieved by a certain time. Not to mention limit our self care because we are older and feel it's our "responsibility" to look after everybody else in our family first
Age can be a trap and a wheel of excuses if we let it, or it can be something to be proud of, to download wisdom from and to break the norms of reality with.
Age is literally a number and what really matters is how old you are on the inside. Your biological age. If we prioritise our health and self care it really doesn't matter what age we are, but more so the quality of life that we are allowing ourselves to live and attain.

We discuss then importance of finding ways to support yourself to help your body on the healing journey. We believe there is always a way forward and having the support networks and self-care practices in place are essential for your ability to heal and regain some balance within.
The journey isn't always a quick fix, it may take time and to try different modalities or practitioners, but when we hold a mindset of possibility and what can I do right now, who can I reach out to and what can I learn about this situation, it opens up more awareness to your body and can assist with a deeper understanding of what can be available.
We encourage listener to keep going, to embrace the journey and find a way forward no matter what. Knowing there is support around and there are answers available.
Ep 71: Self Doubt
In todays episode we dive right into Self Doubt. The ways in which we doubt our divine power, instincts or abilities, and we break down how can use self doubt to actually benefit your journey.
Self doubt is something that can be very challenging, over whelming and can really slow us down and sometimes come in between us achieving our greatest potential.
So today we want to inspire you, to expect doubt and dance with it to really see it as a tool. When it starts to pop up you can be the one in control of your response and conversation with it. Not it over you.

With today's busy lives it is easy to miss how some of your choices can be effecting your health, how your enviroment, food, household cleaners can be building up and impacting how you feel so embracing options around detoxing can be more important than you realise.

Ep 68: Sugar
Today we talk about all things involving sugar, the affects it has on the body, and why it's so important to be aware of how the food companies so cleverly hide sugar.
Our body needs sugar to survive, but it's the quality over the quantity that's important, and educating yourself so you can identify it when you see it.
List of Sugar names: https://sugarscience.ucsf.edu/hidden-in-plain-sight/
We have grown up seeing sugar as a treat and a prize to be won as children. It's time to reprogram how we see sugar and also help the next generation who are bombarded at every super market checkout, and every celebration, that there are safer ways to consume what should be classified as a drug.
Ep 67: Self Support
In today's episode we wanted to explore and discuss the importance of self support. Why this is so important when it comes to your health and self-care.
Building your self-worth and understanding how you can best support yourself in times of need is an important tool to build to help you maintain some form of self-care in your life.
How are you looking after yourself? How are you dealing with the challenges that show up and not let that take a toll on your health? Not allowing life to define who you are but having the capacity to rely on yourself when needed.
This can be such a game changer to maintaining balance and staying with the ongoing journey of health and stopping the yoyo self-care. Learning to adapt and know what works for you in moments of need can just be the difference of you getting through or hitting rock bottom.
We believe that apart from a community of support, knowing we have some resources within us to help ourselves is something we can all strive for.
Ep 66: Building your vision

Don't underestimate the power of vision. It can be done anywhere, anytime, is absolutely free, and one of the most powerful ways to bring you closer to the life you truly deserve.

Ep 64:How to Pace Through the End of Year & Manage Responsibilities
In this episode we discuss the importance of pace and maintaining responsibilities.
You don't have to get it all right all the time!
If we are able to shake off the small things and take those tiny moments to yourself seriously, it's amazing how that makes us feel. We can get it all done and it doesn't have to include high stress levels just to get through it all.
Create a new mindset this month and redefine what the end of the year can truly be for you. We can pace ourselves when we are going at our own pace and not comparing our pace with anyone else.
Be gentle to yourself!
Ep 63: Breaking Routine & Being Ok with Change
It's very easy to get stuck in a rut or in the same old routine and it feel like there's something missing.
There is so much magic when we move something to a different time that it usually happens, taking a different way to work or surrendering to the change that is itching or knocking on your door.
Today we want to congratulate routine if it is present in your life and also encourage the balance that is available when we simply do something different, and how present we become when we step out of what we normally do rather robotically each day.
It's ok not to be ok, and that is where being ok with change can begin.
If you are looking for that spark to come back into your life, why not be creative and courageous, break the norm and embrace what ever comes with it.
This is also very good for renewing your sense of self care and creating new ideas for who you are becoming.
